Knives Out Gets the Honest Trailer Treatment. Like it or not, Knives Out was approved of by a lot of fans even though there are plot holes in this thing that a truck could drive. My wife and I saw the Knives Out trailer on the big screen earlier this summer, and it’s being sold as a star-studded, darkly comic, murder mystery — a sort-of 21st-century Clue. It looks like we don't have photos for this title yet. You can browse other available content for this title, such as plot summary, trivia, goofs, etc. At Knives Out (2020). Add Image Add an image. The deal will enable Netflix to potentially turn Knives Out into a full-blown franchise, and alternate reports indicate the streaming service has ordered both Knives Out 2 and Knives Out 3. If you need a break from sitting around watching endless hours of TV during quarantine and want to do some reading, Rian Johnson is here to help. The filmmaker has made the shooting draft of Knives Outavailable for all to read. Since it’s a shooting draft it’s pretty similar to the final film, although there are a few interesting differences here and there. Mostly, though, it’s another reminder of how damn fine a script this is.

Rian Johnson just gave the game away. If you’re watching a mystery movie set in modern times, and you’re trying to find out who the villain is, there’s a sure-fire way to solve the case: pay attention to the phones people are using. According to the Knives Outdirector, Apple has a rule that forbids filmmakers from letting the bad guys in movies use an iPhone. So, uh, spoiler alert for every single modern-day mystery going forward.

If you were mesmerized by Daniel Craig‘s Southern detective Benoit Blanc in Knives Out and thought to yourself, “I really hope a possible sequel sheds more light on where that character came from,” I have some bad news. Writer/director Rian Johnson, who is hard at work on a follow-up that will reunite him with Craig, says he’s not interested in exploring Benoit Blanc’s backstory in future movies. Read More »

Since Star Wars: The Last Jedi got a bunch of manbabies riled up about minority characters, female empowerment, and whiny entitled douchebros, writer/director Rian Johnson decided to take it one step further with Knives Out.
List Of Honest Trailers
The whodunit in the vein of Agatha Christie isn’t quite as much of a mystery as it would seem, mostly since we find out who the killer is roughly halfway through the movie. But of course, the plot at the center of Knives Out is a donut hole within a donut hole, so there’s still something to be figured out by detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig), even if he’s not quite as good of a detective as he seems. But we’ll let the Knives OutHonest Trailer take it from here. Read More »
